REPORT ON THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
We have audited:
(i)
the financial statements of Frasers Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (“FH-REIT”) and its subsidiaries (“FH-
REIT Group”), which comprise the Statement of Financial Position and Portfolio Statement as at 30 September
2015, the Statement of Total Return and Statement of Comprehensive Income, Distribution Statements,
Statement of Changes in Stapled Securityholders’ Funds and Statement of Cash Flows for the financial period
from 20 June 2014 (date of constitution) to 30 September 2015, and a summary of significant accounting
policies and other explanatory information;
(ii)
the financial statements of Frasers Hospitality Business Trust (“FH-BT”), which comprise the Statement of
Financial Position as at 30 September 2015, the Statement of Total Return and Statement of Comprehensive
Income, Statement of Changes in Stapled Securityholders’ Funds and Statement of Cash Flows for the financial
period from 20 June 2014 (date of constitution) to 30 September 2015, and a summary of significant accounting
policies and other explanatory information;
(iii)
the consolidated financial statements of Frasers Hospitality Trust (“FHT”), which comprise the Statement of
Financial Position and Portfolio Statement as at 30 September 2015, the Statement of Total Return and Statement
of Comprehensive Income, Distribution Statements, Statement of Changes in Stapled Securityholders’ Funds
and Statement of Cash Flows for the financial period from 20 June 2014 (date of constitution) to 30 September
2015, and a summary of significant accounting policies and other explanatory information;
as set out on pages 128 to 189. Frasers Hospitality Trust, which comprises FH-REIT Group and FH-BT, is hereinafter
referred to as the “Stapled Group”.
FH-REIT Manager’s responsibilities for the financial statements
Frasers Hospitality Asset Management Pte. Ltd., the Manager of FH-REIT (the “REIT Manager”), is responsible for the
preparation and fair presentation of the financial statements of FH-REIT and the Stapled Group in accordance with
the recommendations of the Statement of Recommended Accounting Practice 7 “Reporting Framework for Unit
Trusts” issued by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and for such internal control as the REIT Manager
determines is necessary to enable the preparation of financial statements that are free from misstatement, whether
due to fraud or error.
FH-BT Trustee-Manager’s responsibilities for the financial statements
Frasers Hospitality Trust Management Pte. Ltd., the Trustee-Manager of FH-BT (the “Trustee-Manager”), is responsible
for the preparation of financial statements for FH-BT that give a true and fair view in accordance with the provisions
of the Singapore Business Trusts Act, Chapter 31A (the “Act”) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, and for
devising and maintaining a system of internal accounting controls sufficient to provide a reasonable assurance that
assets that are part of the trust property of the registered business trust are safeguarded against loss from unauthorised
use or disposition; and transactions by the Trustee-Manager entered into on behalf of or purported to be entered into
on behalf of the registered business trust are properly authorised and that they are recorded as necessary to permit the
preparation of true and fair accounts to maintain accountability of assets.
