INTERCONTINENTAL SINGAPORE
Significant progress was made in
FY2015 towards re-positioning the
InterContinental Singapore firmly
among the city’s luxury hotels.
A comprehensive refurbishment
programme of the guest rooms
is currently underway. Following
completion of all guest rooms in
February 2016, guests will be able
to stay in newly fitted-out rooms
that benefit from the latest in-room
technology while preserving the
Peranakan heritage for which the
hotel is known for. The hotel’s ADR
is expected to increase as a result of
the higher positioning of the guest
rooms in the Singapore lodging
market.
The re-positioning of the hotel
encompasses the F&B areas as
well. The hotel’s all-day-dining was
completely refurbished and opened
on 15 September 2015 as Ash & Elm.
With an attractive, modern brasserie
concept which featuring a charcoal
grill and wood-fired oven, the new
restaurant is expected to appeal
to the tastes of today’s clientele.
The new lobby lounge of the hotel
will be ready for guests by end of
November 2015. The works on the
lounge are expected to result in an
increase in covers during tea-time
and throughout the day.
