COMMITMENT TO REGULAR AND TRANSPARENT TWO-WAY
COMMUNICATION
FHT was successfully listed on 14 July 2014 at SGD0.88 per stapled security,
representing the net asset value per stapled security as at that date.
At all times, the REIT Manager is committed to maintaining timely, regular
and accurate communication with its stakeholders, which includes stapled
securityholders, prospective investors, analysts and the media.
The REIT Manager ensures that financial results, announcements, press
releases, presentation slides and other relevant disclosures are posted timely
on SGX as well as on FHT’s website.
Senior management and the investor relations team conduct results briefings
via face-to-face meetings or conference calls, provide updates through one-
on-one and group meetings, emails, roadshows, and our website. During
such meetings and conference calls, stakeholders have the opportunity to
understand FHT better. Upon request, we also organise property visits to
FHT’s properties for financial analysts and institutional investors.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) AND EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL
MEETING (EGM)
Both the AGM and the EGM are important meetings for the stapled
securityholders to meet with the board of directors and the management
of FHT. FHT convened its EGM in relation with the acquisition of Sofitel
Sydney Wentworth on 24 June 2015. Voting for all resolutions at the EGM
via electronic polls were duly passed with the results of the polls announced
on the SGX and FHT websites after the event. Our first AGM will be held on 9
December 2015, in accordance with this annual report.
